Hike in the Fog
Went on an easy hike this morning with my brother & sister - the last two days rained heavily - so although today didn't rain, the rock is still wet so climbing was out.
The hike was in floresta da Tijuca, a national park inside of Rio. The mountain we went up is the one in the far left, Pico do Papagaio (parakeet's peek).
The hike was pretty chill, 3K each way, pretty easy for the most part though it does get scrambbly towards the end. Was (relatively) cool today, but we didn't get a nice view as there was a lot of fog.

Neat photos, JK - I love the one of the lizard, and the sunlight through the trees. And sure looks like the weather beats the cold and rain here in London.

This hike was full of lizards, for some reason. One nearly gave me a heart attack jumping over the trail.
Wow! Great pictures! The last one reminded me of a day in the Gunks.
yup! It was pretty much that humid minus the natural AC...
