I've got a new attitude...
Sensei has changed up some of the classes to add a bit more introductory material and to help with scheduling. Today was the first day with a solid two hour class (no more 10m break + warmup). Instead, he used that 20m of time to do basic footwork exercises that I haven't seen in a long while. And they're useful.
I also ran through all my nikyu shinsa (quickly). I was a bit stiff because I wasn't warmed up and a few things felt (and looked) 'tight' but I knew everything. It will probably not be the best performance of my life, but I think it will be good enough. I'll try to run through some things on my own while I'm in Boston.
First class:
Katate-tori
shiho-nage irimi
kokyu-nage tubiki-tori irimi
kokyu-nage ude-uroshi irimi
tenchi-nage irimi
